Creamy Spring Onion Soup

Serves 3-4


  • 1 tub of Chris’ Dips Traditional Spring Onion Dip
  • 2 large white potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1⁄2 a whole cauliflower, grated
  • 1⁄2 a cup of frozen peas
  • Black pepper and spring onion, to serve


  • In a small saucepan, place your dip, grated cauliflower and grated potato and just covered with water. Bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring regularly. After 15 minutes, or once the potato is tender, take the soup off the heat and blend (we used a stick blender)
  • Add the soup back to the pot and add the peas. Bring back to a simmer until the peas are cooked (1-2 minutes will do it)
  • Serve with black pepper, a sprinkle of fresh spring onion and salt, to taste
