  1. To make the cutlets grate the carrot, sweet potato, onion and red capsicum and mix into a bowl along with the mince, chopped parsley, egg, turmeric, and curry powder.
  2. Using your hands mix the ingredients together.
  3. Pour the coconut oil into a frying pan. Roll the cutlets into small balls and flatten – fry until cooked. Place onto paper towel to remove excess oil.
  4. Whilst the cutlets are cooling down you can prepare the pirate – using a small circle cutter cut a circle out of the wholemeal wrap.  Using scissors cut the top of the wholemeal circle to create a frowny eye shape.
  5. Cut a small slice out of the green bean for the iris.
  6. Using a straw cut a small circle out of black pancake this will be used for the pupil.
  1. Using the same piece of black pancake cut out a circle using the small circle cutter. Again like the eye cut across the circle to create a patch.
  2. Cut a thin strip out of the black pancake to create the string for the patch.
  3. To make the pirates mouth cut a semi-circle out of the remaining black pancake. Cut little squares out of the wholemeal wrap for the teeth. Place these accordingly using the corn relish to stick them on. You can place a corn kernel as a gold tooth.
  4. Cut the large cucumber in half and then cut it in half again- these will be used for the pirates shoulders.
  5. Cut the small cucumber in half and then half again – this will be used for the pirates arm
  6. Cut two slices out of a carrot to create the pirates shirt.
  7. Cut strips out of the red capsicum.
  8. Using a sharp knife cut a slice of carrot (circle) Using a small circle cutter cut the inside of the carrot and create a hook shape  (refer to image)

  10. Place the cherry tomato in the middle of the face for the nose.
  11. Place the wholemeal wrap eye on one side of the nose. Place the green bean circle on top and the black pancake on top of the green bean to create the pirates eye.

  13. Place the mouth below the nose.
  14. Place the carrots under the face, in the middle, next to each other. Place a piece of large cucumber slice on either side.
  15. Place the small cucumber slice on the right side of the pirate for his arm. Place the carrot hook on the end of the cucumber arm.
  16. Place two strips of red capsicum across the carrots.
