Here at Chris’ Dips we are big lovers of coffee and a great weekend brunch, which is why we are sharing with you some of Melbourne’s best cafes to add to your to-do list this weekend, or next time you visit.

Known as the coffee capital of Australia, Melbourne’s cafe culture is undeniable, with a great mixture of both modern and classic menus and cafe styles, so there’s something for everyone!

Top Paddock:

An impressive cafe owned by some of Melbourne’s best in the business, Top Paddock embraces the trendy, with an open design that feeds customers everything from chilli scrambled eggs, to oat porridge and avocado on toast.

Located a little outside the CBD, this cafe is a must for everyone, with tables to fit large family celebrations, corporate meetings and brainstorming sessions and casual catch-ups with friends and family.

Brother Baba Budan:

If you are after great coffee in the CBD, then this is the place to go. This small cafe in the heart of Melbourne is another gem from the team at Carlton’s Seven Seeds, who also use their well-known freshly roasted Seven Seeds coffee for one of the best cups of coffee you’ll have in the city.

This cafe has a minimal selection of food, so is best if you’re just stopping by for your morning hit or afternoon pick-me-up.

Comprising of three main dining areas, this stylish cafe is great for just about anything. With breakfast and lunch menus and mouth-watering coffee, there’s everything you need for your weekend brunch date.

You can find Proud Mary on the backstreets of Collingwood with its noticeable slick and styled interior large enough for just about any breakfast date or occasion.
